HRT International, Croatian television arrives in high definition

HRT (Hrvatska radiotelevizija), the Croatian public radio and television organization, has launched the distribution of its international channel in better image quality, in high definition.

The channel can already be captured in the open through the Eutelsat Hot Bird 13C satellite (13º East) and is also transmitted by the OiV operator on the Eutelsat 16A satellite (16º East).

The same channel is also used by the Slovak satellite platforms Antik Sat and Orange TV via satellite. Thanks to satellite distribution, the channel can be received openly throughout Europe.

OiV also distributes the national channels HRT1, HRT2, HRT3 and HRT4, which have been broadcast in HD for a long time. The HRT Int. Channel is distributed on the same multiplex, simultaneously in SD and HD resolution.

HRT International offers news, information and entertainment beyond the borders of Croatia in its programming. The channel broadcasts 24 hours a day, also with content in English, Spanish and German.
